What drew Saucer Swap Labs to HBAR initially?

As for this first one, we didn’t really consider building on other networks. We’ve been long-time members of the Hedera community even before the idea of a DEX presented itself.
Building on this network makes perfect sense for a variety of reasons:
- First-mover advantage: We’re providing a key component of DeFi architecture to a first-in-class network.
- Technical advantages:some text
- HSCS + HTS: Hedera Smart Contract Service (HSCS) interacts with Hedera Token Service (HTS) so tokens are created and controlled through HTS, taking full advantage of predictable fee structures.
- No mempool: Front-running is non-existent, eliminating a significant blockchain problem.
- HCS for DAOs: Hedera Consensus Service (HCS) supports decentralized, immutable governance frameworks.
These features allow for a seamless user experience with transparency and fairness.
Will Saucer Swap Labs integrate Metamask and other wallets via the JSON RPC relay?

Yes! Integrating the JSON RPC relay is on our roadmap. This will allow us to support EVM wallets like Metamask and read contract calls free of charge.
We anticipate that MetaMask and Trust Wallet integrations will attract cross-chain users. The JSON RPC relay is an exciting prospect, and we plan to utilize it fully.
How does Saucer Swap Labs stop front running?

Front running, a common problem on Ethereum, is impossible on Hedera. Hedera’s fairness of ordering and absence of miners or blocks eliminates this issue entirely, making Miner Extractable Value (MEV) irrelevant. This inherent advantage strengthens our DEX.
Will Saucer Swap Labs attend crypto conventions?

Yes! We plan to attend crypto conventions and events to network and showcase our DEX. For now, we’re focused on development and social media marketing.
Are there plans to launch a mobile app?

We’re considering it! Over 60% of our traffic is from mobile users.
- A progressive web app is a likely first step to enhance mobile UX, as HashPack explored.
- A dedicated mobile app could follow, though it’s not on our near-term roadmap.
What coins can be staked individually on Saucer Swap?

Single-sided staking will be limited to SAUCE, our native token. Staking SAUCE will yield SAUCEr, which can be used in Community Pools to earn HTS project tokens.

What’s next for Saucer Swap Labs?

We’re actively working on:
- Single-sided staking for SAUCE.
- Integrating a bridge into our web-app.
- Supporting new HTS tokens as the ecosystem grows.
Will there be trading rewards based on activity?

It’s an interesting idea we’ve discussed. While not in the short-term plans, we might revisit it in the future as we roll out other features.
Are charts coming to the DEX?

Yes! Charts will debut on our analytics page shortly and later be integrated into the web-app for a seamless trading experience.
